封面解读 ▶ 基于时间分箱的量子密钥分发首次演示了基于电信半导体量子点的时隙编码量子密钥分发(QKD)。通过利用含量子点的环形布拉格光栅光子结构产生的高亮度单光子发射,在时域对每个光子进行编码,从而生成光子量子时隙密钥。这些密钥随后通过光纤链路传输,最远距离达120公里。接收端通过解密时间槽态成功提取量子密钥。该成果实现了基于单光子源的时间槽QKD技术中最高的保密密钥速率,标志着面向稳健固态发射器驱动型QKD网络的重大突破。
